I had a message from a follower asking if I had a recipe for a chess pie. I started looking because I knew that I had made them years ago and loved them. I really forgot just how easy they are to make. There are several good recipes out there but I think the ingredient that makes it so good is the cornmeal. I know it seems strange to be putting cornmeal in a lemon pie but it's just delicious. I hope you try it and let me know what you think.
Hooray! I have received my cookbook. It made it all the way to Poole, Dorset, in the UK. It looks like I can get hold of most of the Ingredients and what I can't I will try and improvise. I can't wait to start making food from the book. Sending huge love.
