Who doesn't like pound cake? I have 3 different pound cake recipes in my cookbook and I love all three. I wanted to cook something today that I could take to my sweet nurses tomorrow when I go for chemo so I chose this recipe. It is so good with coffee but if you add some peaches or strawberries on top you have taken it to a new level. My mother loved sliced peaches on her pound cake.
