Fried Okra is one of our favorite vegetables. There's nothing like fresh vegetables in the summer from our garden. I've learned that canning my okra is real close to fresh. I'll share with you later how I can it, but there's no need to do that now. I think okra browns better in a black cast iron skillet. If you don't have one you might want to consider getting one. I have listed one under my FAVORITE PRODUCTS. I use my black skillet almost every day. When you have the opportunity to get some fresh okra try frying it in a black skillet and let me know what you think.
