There is a cafe in Louisiana that I just love! They have the best grilled cheese sandwiches. In today's video I am showing you my copycat version of their grilled cheese. The figs give it just a touch of sweetness. I hope you will try it and let me know how you like it!

Love this recipe! I had some Fontina cheese, and used it along with some white American cheese, apple, and fig spread… completely delicious! Thank you for your inspiration.
The recipe states 1 granny Smith apple sliced very thin! But the instructions do not state where to place them in the grilled cheese??
