I made this Pear Salad several months back but have had several followers request it again. It's so simple but very delicious. I use a small can of pears because it's perfect for us. If you are having guests you would probably want to use a large can of pears. My friend, Kim, in Louisiana makes this using sliced pineapple and it is delicious also. This easy recipe is quick and I always keep a can of pears on hand just for this. I hope you will try it and let me know what you think.
Enjoyed trying your salad. My mother used to put a pear half on top of cottage cheese with a teaspoon of Mayo and a light sprinkle of nutmeg. We loved it.
Looks delicious! Going to try it this weekend. My mother would place the pear on a few lettuce leaves and place cream cheese on the pear. Refreshing!
My mom called this a salad growing up in Texas but we loved pear salad.
My Mama always made this salad with pears or peaches, mayo, cheese, and raisins. Thank you Mama Sue for reminding me of these special memories.♥️♥️♥️
