The last time I made this Southern 7-Layer Salad for y'all, the video went viral. Some people couldn't imagine that this salad recipe would be good. Others remember it from their church potluck from childhood. You have to try it! This recipe can also be found in my Volume 1 cookbook.
This version of a 7 layer salad sounds amazing & I will definitely try. My grandmother first introduced a very similar version of this (sans chicken), but she always put it in a 9” x 11” baking dish (or a similar serving dish). This way, the dressing is more evenly distributed & every scoop will contain all of the wonderful layers involved… also it looks much neater after folks start digging in!
