A sweet friend of mine, Gerrie Hansford, gave me this recipe several years ago and we love it. I added chicken to mine but it is delicious without. This dish is wonderful if you are having guests for dinner or for a holiday meal. It makes a big dish so you will have plenty to eat. Enjoy!
