My sister-in-law, Belvin, gave me this recipe and it is delicious. You could add any vegetable you like but she uses Veg-all. If you want to serve this with a green salad you will have a delicious meal.
Mama Sue, I made this chicken and rice casserole today but it seems to be missing something, Im so sorry Im not trying to be critical but it didnt have much of a taste. I followed everything to a tee that you said on your video other than the can of vegetables as my market didnt have Veg All, so I used Green Giant mixed veggies. We still have alot left so I added more onion powder to it and will re-heat it tomorrow. Any suggestions. I love your recipes and have made many..
yes sounds good. i am from ohio and i never heard of the cracker salad so i made a small one and i thought it was good. thanks waiting for my cookbook #2 GOD BLESS
For sure I am going to try this chicken and rice casserole. It sounds so good. I know this grandkids will like it too. We like casseroles. They are easy and most I have made have been big hits. I am 72 yrs old and my adult grandkids live with me to help me out. It is a blessing that I am not alone. Think you for posting your recipes. I do enjoy them because they are easy and dont require a lot of stuff that I dont keep in my kitchen. Thank you again for your posts.
Hi Gretchen, I sent a message to Mama Sue, I made this casserole yesterday and it didnt have much taste. I followed the recipe to a tee. It seems to be missing something. We have alot left over so I added more onion powder, maybe that will improve the taste today as we eat the leftovers. Let me know what you think of it...P.S. Im an almost 72 year old Grandma myself!!!!!!
