This is hands-down one of the easiest dessert recipes to make. Just make sure you follow the directions in the recipe or it won't turn out. Harold and I love this with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the top. I hope you'll try it!

I made this for my family tonight. It was a big hit! I have a question, should we refrigerate the leftovers? And yes I am shocked that there are leftovers!
I watched the video and thought I can do that. I had the ingredients so I made it, called my neighbor and asked her if she wanted some. We fell in love, it was delish. I came home and ordered the cookbook, can't wait to get it.
I've made this many times over the years and it really does work! Somehow the cocoa, sugar, and butter combine to make a pudding (when cooled, like molten lava when warm. I actually like it better when it's cooled); and the batter rises to the top for a cobbler-ish topping. It's a crowd pleaser for sure!😊
(I have made this several times with just one cube/stick of butter and it has turned out just fine. The first time was because I simply made a mistake but it worked!)
