I've had this recipe for many years and each time I make it I wonder why I don't make it more often. This is an old Weight Watcher recipe and it was during the days of "counting points". A serving then was 4 points. Tonight I had this with potato salad and baked beans. If you watched the video on my Facebook page you saw how easy this dish is to prepare. I hope you will try this and enjoy it.

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts

  • 1 cup of ketchup

  • 12 oz. can diet coke

  1. Put chicken in a non stick skillet.

  2. Pour ketchup and coke together and mix.

  3. Pour over top of chicken and bring to a boil.

  4. Cover, reduce heat & cook for 45 minutes.

  5. Uncover, turn up heat and cook until sauce becomes thick and adheres to chicken (about 15 minutes), stirring occasionally.

This recipe is on page 29 in my cookbook.

Just catching up to this recipe (I'm pretty new to this site) and looking forward to trying it. I used to make bbq sauce with ketchup and Dr. Pepper (diet or regular.) Of course, that combo might be a little too sweet for some people, so add a little heat to it to make it sweet and spicy!

Mama Sue, I’m new here but I just fell in love with you when I hear how much you love the Lord! And I love your recipes as well! I am no stranger to this recipe as I’ve had it for years when I was on Weight Watchers, but I just wanted you to know that you instantly gained a new subbie on YouTube just for your sweet messages about God and giving inspiration after each video. I wish you much success and love through Christ Jesus, our Lord! Much Love, Kim Redmond

I have been watching and enjoying your vidios and wanted to let you know how much i enjoy them!! The recipes are simple, southern, and delicious! I love your testimony in each vidio. I have been praying for you every day!! My granddaughter has had a single masdectomy, chemo, and has now completed 26 of 30 radiation treatments! Praise the Lord!! It has been a real struggle, but with Gods grace and love, she has made it this far!! The radiation has been very harsh and hard on her, but his Grace is sufficient!! Just know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, and God has this!! Thank you for your words of encouragement!!
