Janie from the Mississippi Delta. We always called them “deviled eggs” until the grandchildren renamed them “Eggs on Eggs”, which is a pretty good description.

My grandmothers, I’m 68, so they were elderly for sure! But they called them Deviled Eggs my whole life, or until they transitioned to Heaven. I use mayo, mustard, a little Texas Pete, and 1 tsp. Ketchup. I usually fix 18 eggs at a time. My hubby, our son, and grandson eat about a doz of them before we can get dinner on the table.


As for potato salad, I put salt in water I boil potatoes in, so I don’t add it later. Then I use mayo, green onions and I cube up my own sweet pickles. If I don’t have my canned sweet pickles, I use Mt. Olive Bread & Butter Pickles and I dice them myself. Beca…

Deviled eggs. We don’t add pickle relish. Just mayo, salt and pepper and a small splash of vinegar (NC)
