Payday candy bars are my favorite treat these days, so when I saw this recipe, I knew I had to make them. I decided to change it a little and make these in the microwave. It's hot in Alabama and you don't want to turn your stove on unless you have to. Harold said that these were better than the original. You have to try them!

I want to try this! Wondering if you can substitute creamy peanut butter for the peanut butter chips?

I was wondering the same thing. But, I figure the chips have some kind of paraffin or wax in them to keep them firm. If we use peanut butter, it may not firm up enough. If you do try it, post here and let me know How it turns out!
