We don't always have a meat with every meal. In my taco soup, I usually don't add meat. If you want to, you can. This soup recipe makes a lot so we will eat what we can and then freeze the rest. It will make for a quick dinner this wintertime. You can find this recipe in my Volume 1 cookbook.

Lots of "cans" listed but NO size/ounces given (???)

Please add ounces to the recipe...

I believe most recipes (soups, etc.) use the standard size 15 oz can unless it says differently. A recipe such as this does not rely on exact measurements and leaves it up to the individual to decide. Recipes used in baking, however, tend to be more precise as measurements can effect the outcome.
