RED LOBSTER CHEDDAR BAY SAUSAGE BALLS

Updated: Dec 7, 2023

These creamy on the inside, and slightly crunchy on the outside sausage balls are perfect for a light lunch or appetizer on game day. I think they also make a crowd please for any Christmas party. The recipe is featured in my Volume 2 cookbook on page 3.

Easy way to make the balls is to pat the dough into a square shape on a piece of waxed paper, foil, etc. then cut it into small squares (about 1 inch), and roll each square up into a ball.

I wanted to share that I loved this recipe! Thank you! I even did a taste test with family against traditional Bisquick/Sausasage/Cheese balls and this was the winner. Then the next time I fixed them I took it a step further and sprinkled some McCormicks Montreal Steak Seasoning on a half batch...and the other half I sprinkled Cavender's All Purpose Greek Seasoning. OMG... the ones with Cavender's were out of this world good! I love McCormick's Montreal Steak Seasoning and put it on everything...but there's no question...your recipe with maybe 1tsp Cavender's and a dash of salt is like heaven on earth! I dare anyone to eat just one!🤗

We have used Cavenders in my family for around 50 yrs. Smoked birds, chicken in a Bundt pan - look it up bc it’s delicious.
