I have many different pound cakes on my website, but I love this one from my Volume 1 cookbook. After talking with my dear friend Diane (MeMe's Recipes), I decided to use her trick of mixing the batter for 10 full minutes, uninterrupted. It is a good tip! This cake is wonderful!

Does that 10 minute mixing time apply to all cakes or just this one?
