I have to admit… this was my very first time ever making Lentil Soup! My mama never made it when I was growing up, so I guess this may not be your typical Southern recipe. But let me tell y’all, I was pleasantly surprised by just how hearty and delicious it turned out.
This soup is packed with simple ingredients, easy to make, and perfect for when you want something warm and comforting. I always love trying new things in the kitchen, and this one may just make it back into the recipe rotation at our house. If you grew up eating lentil soup, y’all will have to tell me how your family made it!
