I had to throw dinner together in a hurry, so I pulled out my crockpot and came up with this easy recipe. The Conecuh sausage really stole the show—it gave the green beans and potatoes the best flavor. Simple ingredients, hardly any effort, and a meal that Harold and I both enjoyed!
This recipe can be made easy with using a box cake mix. It's the way we like it, but you can make your cake from scratch if you want. The best part is the icing though! This recipe can be found in my Volume 2 cookbook.
