Cornbread dressing is a Thanksgiving tradition here in the South. It just wouldn't be Thanksgiving without dressing. It's pretty easy to make, but you do have to make it ahead of time. We always have a big crowd for dinner so I tend to double this recipe.

cookbbook recipe calls for 4 eggs, but in your video you say you put 4 eggs in a double recipe. So in a double recipe should I use 4 or 8 eggs? 8 seems like an awful lot…

The written recipe adds hamburger buns, water and cream of celery soup. The video does not…..??

Sue years ago Ballard made a virnbread mix I loved for dressing. Martha White bought them out and they discontinued the mix. What do you use for your cornbread??

I’ve never heard of hamburger buns being used in dressing. My great grandmother always baked biscuits the day before and let the dry out to make them crumbly.
