Each year we grow Pink Eye Purple Hull Peas in our garden. I always can some and put some in the freezer. I love having garden-fresh vegetable any time of the year. In today's video, I'm showing you how I season the peas that makes them so delicious. I'm telling you, the Bacon Up is a game changer!
A few weeks ago I was in Nashville with Y'all Sweet Tea. We went to a delicious brunch place called Milk & Honey. They make their own homemade pop tarts and they were so good! I wanted to try to see if I could duplicate their recipe. For the first batch, I made a homemade pie crust that I had seen Brenda Gantt do a while back. I also decided to compare it to just using a refrigerated pie crust that you can buy at the store. Of course, the homemade pie crust version is better, but the shortcut is pretty good too!
